The number of coronavirus cases has decreased by a half or more in four Greater Manchester boroughs the latest figures. The infection rate, the number of seven day total cases per 100,000 people, is continuing to fall in all ten boroughs.

Manchester's rate was down by 38 percent week-on-week with all other boroughs also seeing marked decreases. Salford continues to have the highest infection rate in Greater Manchester.
