A Lanarkshire opticians sees a bright future ahead after it invested in a significant renovation to improve its customer experience and increase its capacity for testing.The upgrades at the Specsavers store in Airdrie town centre include reworking the space to streamline customer service along with the creation of a dedicated area for testing and contact lenses.The four-week renovation at the Graham Street shop took place after hours to allow it to remain open and see customers throughout the construction process.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

"Our improved diagnostics facilities mean a more slick experience for all customers. "This decision was partly influenced by the pandemic, and we’ve had great feedback from customers so far who appreciate the resources we are putting into improving the experience in-store."This investment will enable us to see even more people in the community and highlights that we intend to be here for the next 14 years."
