Lanarkshire mum with 'heart of gold' praised by grateful daughter

A Hartwood woman has been recognised by her grateful daughter for "always going above and beyond" to support her family. Nicola Amar praised her mother, Margaret Short, nominating her for the Wishaw Press 'Say It With Flowers' award.

Nicola told Lanarkshire Live : “My mum has just been the backbone of our family and is there for everybody all the time, especially during difficult times.
