Manchester United have been plagued by injury this season, with almost 20 first-team players suffering setbacks since the start of the summer.
Erik ten Hag has said he is actually pleased with the club’s start to the season amid the plethora of setbacks, with more being added to the physio chart over the past week.
The latest to suffer injury is Christian Eriksen. The Dane is out for a month with a knee issue while Rasmus Hojlund is also set for a spell on the sidelines with a strain.
Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro, meanwhile, are out for the rest of the year. United could make up a strong XI out of the players who have been injured since the start of pre-season.
