North Korean media have reported that leader Kim Jong Un has made first public appearance in weeks, ending rumours about his health.
Various speculative reports in recent days had claimed the dictator was either dead, or in a "vegetative state" following surgery.
On Sunday, Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab told the BBC's Andrew Marr programme he had seen the reports about the North Korean leader, but "did not know" if they were true.
However it now appears to have been confirmed that the North Korean leader is alive and well. As the absolute leader of country with a nuclear weapons programme, Mr Kim's health is matter of intense interest - both regionally and globally.
