A Fernhill Soccer School coach thanked donors and volunteers after the group ran a free Halloween party at the weekend.Over 60 kids flocked to Fernhill Community Centre for the fun-filled event, where they tucked into ice cream, jelly, strawberries and juice as well as receiving some goodie bags.Kids from age three and up attended to either play fancy-dressed party games inside or have a kick about outside.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

We are seeing kids from all over Rutherglen, Cambuslang and further afield all coming along because of that.“None of that would be possible without the help of our amazing volunteers and sponsors.“We have a number of female coaches now which has been amazing in encouraging a lot more young girls along, and we get some amazing funding to make stuff like this happen
