Coronation Street star Kevin Kennedy says the show's bosses saved his life by sending him to rehab. The actor, who played Curly Watts for 20 years, opened up about his alcohol addiction on Good Morning Britain today during an interview with presenter Ranvir Singh and Sean Fletcher.Kevin, 50, appeared on the show with his wife of 24 years, Clare.He said ITV bosses saved him by sending him to The Priory back in 1998.Opening up, Kevin commented: "It was forward-thinking, most companies get rid of employees."They sent me to rehab so I'd be able to get back and be a better and more loyal employee, it makes perfect business sense."The star continued: "Other actors had problems and they went through the same process."More companies should take.
