Kendall Jenner has agreed to pay out $90,000 (£74,000) for promoting the notoriously disastrous Fyre Festival. The star – who was initially being sued for the $275,000 (£223,000) she was paid for her promotional Instagram post – denies any liability related to the lawsuit, but a settlement with the trustee of the Fyre Festival bankruptcy case has been reached.
The 24-year-old was among the entertainers sued in the Fyre Festival bankruptcy case to recover money for creditors, after she was paid a reported $250,000 (£203,000) to promote the festival in a now-deleted Instagram post.
According to court documents, Kendall wrote: ‘So hyped to announce my G.O.O.D Music Family as the first headliners for @fyrefestival. ‘Use my promo code KJONFYRE
