Katie Piper has posted a health update on her Instagram after undergoing eye surgery. The TV presenter took to her social media account to share a number of photos from her hospital bed on Friday.

 A third fan commented: “Take care beautiful lady.”A spokesperson for Katie told MailOnline: “Katie is recovering well in hospital after an operation on her right eye, the eye which still has sight.  “The operation was a skin graft to her upper eyelid using skin from her left arm. “She is currently resting to minimise the threat of infection and to ensure a quick recovery. “Katie thanks everyone for their care and warm wishes.”Katie has now had to undergo more than 350 operations since the attack. She underwent reconstructive eye surgery back in September, explaining that she had scar tissue from her left eyelid and skin taken from the inside of her upper arm to build a new lid.Speaking about the surgery to her eye at the time, Katie said:
