The U.K. is back on lockdown because of the surging coronavirus pandemic, but the royal family still honored British and Commonwealth veterans on Sunday at a scaled-back version of the annual Remembrance Day ceremony at The Cenotaph in London.
Queen Elizabeth was joined by her immediate family, 30 service members, and other notable leaders, who all stood at a careful social distance.
It might have been a very different ceremony from years past, but Kate Middleton arrived at the event in her usual flourish of class and style.
She wore a black custom Alexander McQueen coat with shoulder detailing, a Philip Treacy black hat, and pearl drop earrings that she borrowed from Queen Elizabeth II, according to the Daily Mail.
