Kate Middleton showcases gorgeous caramel colour – as she joins Michelle Keegan on ‘contoured’ hair trend

We’re not saying Kate Middleton has snuck out for a hair appointment this lockdown, but she has been wearing her hair in updos recently so we hadn’t really noticed that her hair has gone warmer and blonder in colour – until now.The Duchess showed off the look for us over the weekend on the Kensington Royal Instagram page, and we were stunned.

While the real reason for the post was to highlight the Hold Still campaign, we couldn’t help but also spot how much lighter her hair has gone.

And not just lighter, but it also seems to feature some “hair contouring” – the technique that just last week Michelle Keegan’s go-to Wella colourist, Calum Tierney, posted about on a now viral Instagram Reels video.
