In a new interview, the distraught ITV star shared how the deadly virus has caused holes in her husband's heart, inflicted nerve, liver and kidney damage, and meant that he now needs a tracheotomy to help him breathe.Derek has been in hospital for teen weeks after first being diagnosed with Covid-19.Opening up, Kate said: "So they could finally see the damage they hadn’t been able to see before.
