Speaking after the chat, Jane revealed the latest devastating blow dealt to Kate and her family. After Derek was admitted to hospital in late March, he was placed in an induced coma as he battled the virus on a ventilator.
Yesterday, Jane revealed that after almost two months, doctors had taken Derek out of the coma but he had failed to regain consciousness.
