Kate Garraway made a surprise cameo appearance in The Salisbury Poisonings, leaving her fans emotional. The Good Morning Britain presenter appeared in the BBC drama as a clip of her reporting on the 2018 incident was watched by one of the characters.
The cameo came as Kate's husband Derek Draper continues to fight for his life as he battles coronavirus. Kate, 53, said in the GMB clip: "Charlie Rowley and Dawn Sturgess, who are both in their 40s, were found unconscious at a house in Amesbury, Wiltshire. "They remain in a critical condition after being exposed to the substance Novichok." Her fans were moved after seeing her on TV for the first time since she gave an update on her 52-year-old husband's battle with COVID-19.
