The breakfast TV star, 52, responded to a fan's message who told her to seek comfort in the story of a Everest climber's survival.
Mountaineer Lincoln Hall cheated death after he was left for dead on Everest with no oxygen or protective clothing in May 2006.
His death was announced but 12 hours later a group of climbers stumbled across him sat up, frostbitten and very much alive. Lincoln had come back to life after stages of unconsciousness.
