BBC 's new docuseries were left heartbroken when an unexpected character made a sudden appearance on its documentary, The Rise of the Murdoch Dynasty.
The episode was all about documenting what went down and showing footage from Tony Blair's 1997 election victory celebration.
It was aired last Sunday and showed Kate Garraway 's husband Derek Draper when he was a political advisor to the Labour party.
In the clip, a younger Derek, 52, can be seen standing next to John Prescott, Neil Kinnock and Peter Mandleson.The footage showed the group as they celebrated at London's Royal Festival when Tony Blair was announced as the new prime minister.Derek, who is currently recovering from Covid-19 in hospital, can be seen wiggling his body and dancing.
