mirror.co.ukKate Garraway has revealed that her first Christmas without her husband Derek Draper was almost ruined. The Good Morning Britain host, 53, said her home flooded on the lead up to the big day.
Derek, also 53, has been in hospital since March after getting coronavirus, which, although he has now recovered from it, has wreaked havoc on his body.
Taking to her Instagram account on New Year's Eve, Kate reflected on a "calamitous" festive season as everything started to go wrong.
She shared a picture of the family's stunning Christmas tree as she said they "got through it" thanks to a number of people that came to their rescue.
