Kanye West’s new music video shows a cartoon version of the rapper “burying” his ex-wife’s new partner Pete Davidson.Kim Kardashian has been made “legally single” after the couple filed for divorce in February last year.The rapper posted the clip on Instagram, a music video for his song Eazy, featuring The Game, just hours after the news about his wife.The couple are taking steps towards finalising their divorce and Kim has legally dropped the West from her surname, now going by the name Kim Kardashian once again.Despite ongoing financial and custody proceedings, her name change was granted and Kim has said she now wants to focus on their “beautiful children”.His new song, released on the day of Kim’s name change news, directly calls out comedian Pete Davidson.His ex-wife began dating Pete around October last year, relatively soon after the mother-of-four was on SNL, where he appears as a regular.The black and white video begins with a church on fire as Kanye tells the listener that his “life was never easy”.Stop motion figures appear on screen as the musicians rap along to the sombre backing track.In the video the vocals say: “God saved me from a crash just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s a**,” followed by a female voice saying: “Who?”At one point he also says that he’s “having the best divorce ever”, a not-so-subtle dig toward the mother of his children.The visuals take a violent turn as an animated Kanye is shown dragging along Pete’s body, wrapped in rope and his head covered with a bag.As he is buried vertically with only his head and shoulders above ground, Kanye pulls off the bag to reveal the 28-year-old’s face as it twists and contorts.Kanye then takes out a packet of rose seeds and drops them on his head, soon.
