Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson has been ruled out of the Premier League clash with Brighton on Wednesday. The Brazilian was expected to start the meeting at Anfield but will not feature as he has come down with an illness.
Alisson woke up feeling unwell but has not contracted coronavirus. Youngster Caoimhin Kelleher is set to deputise between the sticks for the reigning champions, with back-up stopper Adrian on the bench.
It comes as another blow to Jurgen Klopp who is already without all four of his best centre-backs. Captain Jordan Henderson and fringe man Nat Phillips are due to partner each other in defence again after doing so successfully against Tottenham and West Ham.
