United manager Solskjaer is under huge pressure at Old Trafford right now, with Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Man City condemning United to their fourth Premier League defeat in their last six matches.
Solskjaer's position, as reported by the Manchester Evening News , is now understood to have become increasingly at risk, although United are not planning to pull the trigger just yet — largely because they don't have a replacement in mind.
