Former Liverpool defender Connor Randall felt "ashamed" and "embarrassed" as he was hooked at half-time in his final appearance for the club.
Randall spent 18 years on the Reds' books after joining as a child and went on to make eight senior appearances. His final game for his boyhood club came in January 2017, when Liverpool slipped to a 2-1 home defeat to then-Championship side Wolves in the FA Cup fourth round.
Right-back Randall lasted just 45 minutes before he was replaced by Philippe Coutinho with the Reds' trailing 2-0 at the interval.
