Aberdeen are still looking for the first win and Hayes has admitted they will be looking to deliver that and to give the Red Army something to finally cheer about in Europe.
Hayes said: “You want to go as far as you can. Unfortunately for us we are out but we want to try and win the last two games. “We can’t get to the knockout rounds but we still have personal pride to play for and also thousands of fans are turning up to watch us at this time of year around Christmas, paying money for tickets.
We know what it means to everyone coming through the gates."The Pittodrie outfit have put on some decent performances on this stage but their failure to put teams away when they have been on top have cost them points and victories.
