Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage (born March 5, 1963), better known by his stage name Joe Exotic, is an American former zoo operator, internet personality, musician, and convicted felon. The former owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (a.k.a. G. W. Zoo) in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Maldonado-Passage had claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the United States. He twice unsuccessfully ran for public office, first for President of the United States in 2016 as an independent, and then for Governor of Oklahoma in 2018 as a Libertarian.

Everybody’s talking about Netflix documentary series “Tiger King”, with the bizarre story of zoo-owner Joe Exotic becoming the COVID-19 equivalent of what used to be called a “watercooler show.” In Tuesday’s edition of Jenny McCarthy’s SiriusXM talk show, she and husband Donnie Wahlberg spoke with John Finlay, ex-husband of Exotic (whose real name is Joseph Maldonado-Passage).
