Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage (born March 5, 1963), better known by his stage name Joe Exotic, is an American former zoo operator, internet personality, musician, and convicted felon. The former owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (a.k.a. G. W. Zoo) in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Maldonado-Passage had claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the United States. He twice unsuccessfully ran for public office, first for President of the United States in 2016 as an independent, and then for Governor of Oklahoma in 2018 as a Libertarian.

John Reinke rose to fame after appearing the the smash hit Netlix documentary series, Tiger King. While the much-loved star earned notoriety from the show based on Joe Exotic, he has insisted that he never earned a penny.

Tiger King garnered more than 34 million viewers in its first 10 days of release after its debut in mid-March, but since then, John hasn't received any pay up.

The star told TooFab: "I filmed that thing for five or six years, and didn't make biscuits out of that. " Netflix made all the money on that.

I have heard that some people made money on it, and that kind of irritates me a little bit. "But I've not tried to make money at all through this...
