Ethan Shanfeld Blair Beeken, Katy Fullan and Shay Rudolph will star in Doron Max Hagay’s feature film debut, “She Keeps Me Young,” a dark comedy that explores what happens when a teenage girl unwittingly challenges the friendship of two grown women.
Alt-comedy triumvirate John Early, Kate Berlant and Patti Harrison round out the cast, alongside Nik Donadi, Ayden Mayeri and Greta Titelman.
The film, which is currently in production in Los Angeles, is described as “an exploration of the small decisions that shape our lives, and the parts of ourselves we so often choose to give up.” Set in and around a shopping center in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley, “She Keeps Me Young” centers on Michelle, a woman adrift and floating through life after a tragic accident.
She spends most of her time with her overbearing best friend, Kelly, who encourages her to date cute guys, take dance classes and climb the ladder at a low-stakes retail job.
