Joe Diffie dead: Country music star dies aged 61 from coronavirus complications

Country music icon Joe Diffie has passed away from "complications of coronavirus," his publicist has confirmed. WKRN news correspondent, Josh Breslow, also shared the tragic news on his Twitter page.

Diffie's fans flocked to the post to tweet their heartbreak over the star's death. One social networker commented: "RIP Joe Diffie.

Our prayers are with all those families suffering from coronavirus." While another continued: "That's so sad." A third simply added: "Heartbreaking." Joe Diffie had a number of popular music hits throughout his illustrious career, including John Deere Green and If The Devil Danced.
