James Christian Kimmel (born November 13, 1967) is an American television host, comedian, writer, and producer. He is the host and executive producer of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a late-night talk show that premiered on ABC on January 26, 2003 at Hollywood Masonic Temple in Hollywood, California; and on April 1, 2019, at a secondary home, the Zappos Theater on the Las Vegas Strip. Kimmel hosted the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2012 and 2016, and the Academy Awards in 2017 and 2018.

Peter White Television EditorJimmy Kimmel will continue to dribble into primetime with another round of Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night.The late-night show’s primetime specials will return to ABC every night of the NBA Finals, beginning with game one.

This marks the 13th consecutive year for the special episodes.This year, Jamie Foxx, Matthew McConaughey and Adam Sandler are set to appear as guests.

The shows are a blend of entertainment and sports with Kimmel’s signature comedy bits and an all-star lineup of guests.Previous guests have included Anthony Anderson, Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore, David Beckham, Sandra Bullock and Mariah Carey.
