Jet2 has cancelled all flights to Cyprus due to the strict entry requirements imposed by the Cypriot government. The tour operator has confirmed that holidays to Cyprus are suspended until August 17.It comes as the latest Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) advice states that travellers cannot enter Cyprus if they have been in the UK in the last 14 days.The exception to this is legal residents of Cyprus and Cypriot ID holders who will be permitted to enter Cyprus with proof of residence or Cypriot nationality - along with a negative Covid-19 test result (taken in the 72 hours before departure).Travellers in this category are also required to self-isolate for 14 days on arrival.A spokesperson for Jet2 said: “Because of prohibitive entry.
