Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that he fought coronavirus over the Christmas period and recalled how he was scared he would "die on my own".
The 60-year-old former Top Gear presenter recalled the ordeal in his latest column for The Times.He told how he began feeling unwell just four days before Christmas Day and then Googled his symptoms before getting a test and testing positive for the deadly virus.In his column, he wrote: "The doctor was very clear that I'd feel under the weather for between five and 14 days and then I'd either get better or I'd have to go to hospital."He continued: "Where, because I am 60 and fat, and because I've smoked half a million cigarettes and had double pneumonia, I'd probably die, on my own, in a lonely plastic.
