JEDWARD'S Edward Grimes admitted that he was "emotional" as he was finally discharged from hospital after an emergency dash for a life-saving operation.
The 29-year-old singer, famous for his long-standing musical double act with brother John, has remained in high spirits while documenting his overnight stay on social media.
He was rushed into hospital to have his appendix removed in a "life-threatening and scary" situation after being left in "excruciating pain".
Initially disappointed to not be with his brother to watch Eurovision as per their tradition, Edward quickly got used to life on the ward and was sad to say goodbye this evening.
