The Englishman was speaking in his pre-match column before the game with the Pars and revealed he had researched Peter Grant's side ahead of the 5-0 win in the Premier Sports Cup last 16 clash.
But Tavernier's fact-finding mission overlooked a 6-0 victory in August 2017 where he netted for Pedro Caixinha 's side in a 6-0 romp.
