As the saying goes, on your wedding day you should have something, old, something borrowed and something blue, and for Alizée Thevenet, the new wife of James Middleton, she got a very special something borrowed from her mother-in-law Carole.

Instead of going out and buying an extravagant gown for her wedding to James, which took place in the South of France, Alizée fell in love with the wedding dress worn by Carole Middleton in 1980.

Speaking in an interview with Hello! the financial analyst admitted that during lockdown, she tried on the wedding dress which belonged to James and the Duchess of Cambridge’s mother, and it was exactly what she wanted for her wedding dress.
