Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City and he reportedly has a buy-out clause in his contract.
According to the Daily Mail, the clause was part of the new five-year contract Grealish signed in September 2020. Villa boss Dean Smith has denied that this is the cause, but the report states that they have 'been told with certainty it exists'.The Athletic report that it would take a fee of around £100m to prise Grealish away from Villa Park.
However, Villa are desperate to keep hold of the attacker and the Mirror are reporting that they have opened talks over a new contract.
