Cat Deeley has teased the possibility of a This Morning return, saying, ‘we’ll just have to see what happens.’ The 47-year-old made her debut on the show alongside Rylan Clark, with fans praising her "brilliant" appearance on the ITV show.

She has since also stepped in to replace Josie Gibson, who is starring on I'm a Celeb, to present alongside Craig Doyle. It comes amid reports that ITV's managing director of daytime, Emma Gormley has been given the task of finding Holly's replacement, with the broadcaster open to both established names and some "surprises." Seasoned professionals such as Davina McCall, Amanda Holden, and Graham Norton are reportedly among those being considered, with new faces and podcasters also in the running.

Speaking to Closer about if there were any solid plans for her to replace Holly Willoughby, she revealed that she'd be keen to make another appearance.

She said: “It was so much fun, but it was only really a one-off. I'm going to LA for six days soon, and then" "I’ll have loads of promo for my new show in January, so we’ll have to see if anything more comes of it," she added. “It was great fun, but we don’t know what’s going to happen.” After fans called for Cat to be made "a permanent fixture" on the sofa, the presenter gushed over how much she’d enjoyed presenting alongside Rylan.
