Viewers tuned in to watch the brand new series of the ITV singing contest, which returned with 12 new characters. Behind these elaborate costumes are a host of famous faces, aiming to keep their identities sealed in a bid to stay in and win the competition.
Hoping to out them is the judging panel, made up of Jonathan Ross, Mo Gillian, Davina McCall and Maya Jama, who has joined the show for the first time to replace Rita Ora.
Tonight's programme saw the panel, and special guest Sir Mo Farah, get the pick the running order with Teeth, Snail, Tattoo, Kingfisher, Spaghetti Bolognese and Dressed Crab each chosen to perform.
