Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
ITV's Good Morning Britain has sparked intrigue after 'snubbing' Ben Shephard in a social media post marking the show's 10th anniversary, following his departure from GMB.The morning programme celebrated the milestone with an Instagram post that seemed to overlook Ben, despite his significant role since the show's inception in 2014 before he transitioned to This Morning.
The caption read: "10 years have flown by! Let's look back at some of our presenters through the years."The post featured images of various hosts including Susanna Reid, Kate Garraway, Charlotte Hawkins, Richard Madeley, Ranvir Singh, Martin Lewis, Laura Tobin, Richard Arnold and Adil Ray.
However, fans were quick to spot the omission of both Ben and Piers Morgan, reports the Mirror.Piers' son Spencer queried: "Where's the main one? " Similarly, a viewer noted, "I know you did not just leave Piers Morgan and Ben Shepherd out, they were the reason I started watching that show in the first place." Another echoed this sentiment, asking, "Where's Ben?", according to OK!However, damage control soon ensued when several video snippets of Laura Tobin and a reminisce of Ben's days on the show were posted, presumably as an appeasement for the alleged oversight.
The post, under the banner "How do you fit 10 years into 90 seconds! #10yearsofgmb" saw Ben expressing his enduring bond to what he calls his GMB 'family', during his talk with OK!
