I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here viewers flocked to social media and declared 'we won' after Nigel Farage was confirmed for the third place position in the 2023 final.

The former Ukip leader shocked fans of the ITV reality show as he made it right to the end of the latest run. After Josie Gibson left camp just before the last day in the jungle, it was left to either Nigel, Sam Thompson, or Tony Bellew to be crowned 'King'.

But after 23 days in camp, Nigel was given his marching orders just before the winner was revealed. At the start of Sunday night's (December 10) episode, Nigel joked he is "now a remainder" as he spoke about becoming a finalist on I’m A Celeb.

The former Brexit Party leader, who was an advocate for leaving the EU, said: “I’m now a remainer, a camp remainer that is. I’m absolutely thrilled to be one of the last three."
