ITV Emmerdale's Rishi unrecognisable after leaving soap as he reunites with co-star
ok.co.ukEmmerdale star Bhasker Patel looks worlds away from his Emmerdale days in a new photograph.The actor portrayed Rishi Sharma in the ITV soap for 12 years, until the character was sadly killed off in 2023 in a gruesome storyline.
Bhasker, 68, posed for a selfie with fellow Emmerdale star Liam Fox, 53, in a sweet Instagram post. Liam - who played Dan Spencer in the ITV soap - is appearing in the brand new theatre production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as Grandpa Potts.
Liam revealed his former co-star Bhasker is "looking after" him in London as rehearsals for the show get underway. "First day of rehearsals for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on Tour tomorrow, being looked after in London for the duration by my mucka Bhasker Patel… can’t wait to start and catch up with Jenny Gayner the pigeon lady!
Exciting times ahead," Liam penned with a row of heart emojis. Emmerdale fans were delighted by the reunion, with many commenting on the post.
