evoke.ieIt looks like Legally Blonde 3 is officially happening as Mindy Kaling has been tapped to co-write the script. While it has been rumoured that the third film the franchise would be coming, nothing had been confirmed.
Stars of the comedy have spoken about their eagerness to return, but this is the first major news in getting the ball rolling.
Originally it was reported the threequel would be written by the original film’s creators Kirsten Smith and Karen McCullah. Now Deadline is reporting that the new script will have an ‘entirely new fresh spin’ on previous workings and will be co-written by The Office star and writer Mindy Kaling and Brooklyn Nine Nine Dan Goor.
