Patrick 'Paddy' Logan, 40, was shot dead at Cuddington Avenue in the early hours of July 28, 1999. Now, the Manchester Evening News understands, GMP Cold Case detectives have made a breakthrough in the unsolved case.
It's understood the prime suspect is an Irish Republican paramilitary hitman already serving life for murder. READ MORE: Officers, acting on intelligence that's emerged in Ireland and Northern Ireland, believe the suspect was hired to assassinate Mr Logan by others.
