An arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin has been issued due to his actions in Ukraine. The warrant, issued by the International Criminal Court, accuses Putin for war crimes due to his alleged involvement in the abduction of children from Ukraine.
In a statement, the court claimed that Putin "is allegedly responsible for the war crime of unlawful deportation of population (children) and that of unlawful transfer of population (children) from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation.” Read more: University set to take students to COURT over 'illegal' rent strike building occupation The court also issued a warrant for the arrest of Maria Alekseyevna Lvova-Belova, the Commissioner for Children's RIghts in the Office of the President of the Russia Federation.
She is being accused of similar allegations.
