Charles, Prince of Wales (Charles Philip Arthur George; born 14 November 1948) is the heir apparent to the British throne as the eldest son of Elizabeth II. He has been Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Rothesay since 1952, and he is the oldest and longest-serving heir apparent in British history.
He is also the longest-serving Prince of Wales, having held that title since 1958. Charles was born at Buckingham Palace as the first grandchild of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. He was educated at Cheam and Gordonstoun schools, which his father, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, had attended as a child. Charles also spent a year at the Timbertop campus of Geelong Grammar School in Victoria, Australia.
Like most luxurious mansions, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's gorgeous new home boasts a lot of bedrooms, more bathrooms than anyone could possibly ever need, and fancy extras including a swimming pool and tennis court.
But their £11.1million pad in Montecito, Santa Barbara, may also have a few unexpected additions - a stripper pole and a bedroom decked out as a pink princess castle.
The couple have moved out of movie producer Tyler Perry's LA house and bought the nine-bed property after taking out a £7.25m mortgage and getting some financial help from Prince Charles.
They moved in July and insiders say they want to make it their permanent home after living in Windsor, Canada and LA in a matter of months.
