Doctor Hilary Jones is a well known face on morning television and has had a long-spanning career with ITV. Amid the coronavirus outbreak, he’s become somewhat of a pandemic pin-up and the doctor, 67, has been a huge aid with his medical knowledge.

Doctor Hilary qualified in 1976 at The Royal Free Hospital in London and worked for a year, in 1979, as a medical officer on the islands of Tristan da Cunha before becoming a GP for the oil industry in Shetland.

He then worked as a GP in Basingstoke in the early 80s before beginning a TV career in 1986, presenting educational programmes for British Medical TV.
