Dr Hilary Jones will not be on Good Morning Britain from next week, it has been revealed. The doctor has been on the show daily since the coronavirus pandemic put the UK into lockdown in March,.

From the first cases and deaths, right through to the ever-changing lockdown rules, Dr Hilary has been there for all of it. Providing key information and advice, and addressing where the handling of Covid-19 may have gone wrong, he's been a key figure on the show for the past four months.

Prior to this, he appeared regularly to discuss the latest health issues, before his role increased amid the pandemic. But Dr Hilary will not be on the show for a while, and it's not confirmed how long for.
