The officer can be seen firing his pistol at the vehicle during a pursuit on the R80 highway in Soshanguve, near Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa, last month.
A police helicopter flies just metres above the ground as it follows the stolen Nissan 1400 pickup truck in the unbelievable video.
In the helmet camera footage, officers rake the fleeing car with gunfire before the driver eventually pulls over. The police motorcyclist then stops his bike and fires bullets into the front offside tyre of the Nissan.
