Work to complete the 'congestion-busting' bridge is entering its final phase this month, and is due to be completed by the end of the summer.
The new layout, which is being built by Highways England, will run from roundabout at junction 19 of the M6 for Knutsford, and will provide links to the motorway and A556.
It is hoped that the new structure will improve traffic flow on one of the UK's busiest motorways. Huge steel beams were successfully implemented during the last phase, creating foundations for the bridge deck.
