Impact Wrestling star Taya Valkyrie has had an interesting couple of years.She began 2021 starring for the company during the empty-arena Covid years alongside tag partner and friend Rosemary.But in February she left to join WWE – which took the wrestling world by surprise.READ MORE: WWE star champion Liv Morgan says Brit fans are 'so vulgar' - but she loves itTaya, whose real name is Kira Magnin-Forster, was repackaged as Franky Monet and had just a handful of matches before being released in November as part of the “Covid layoffs”.But it didn't take long for the 38-year-old Canadian, who is married to fellow wrestler and former WWE star John Morrison – aka Johnny Impact/Progress/Elite/Mundo/Nitro/Superstar – to rejoin the company where she truly made a name for herself on the world stage.And she almost immediately joined forces once again with Rosemary - whom she teams with at the Emergence PPV on August 12.The much-loved fan-favourite pair took on Madison Rayne and Tenille Dashwood at Slammiversary in June and took home the Impact Knockouts World Tag Team Championships for the first time as a duo.But does Taya see her time with WWE as something she regrets?Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star, she explained: “My opinion about it has changed over time, and I think that's pretty normal for anyone that goes through any sort of kind of life changing or awakening moment.“I don't regret anything, and I think that's important to realise that sometimes sad or depressing moments in your life can have huge moments of reflection and can really make you evolve and you know, I don't regret it.“I set out to do something, I did what I said I was going to do and I got signed by WWE and if I had not gone I would regret it the rest.
