Arsenal legend Ian Wright has hit out at Edu's defence of Willian, saying the Brazilian's comments left him feeling "very disappointed" and upset.
Willian has been in poor form since joining the Gunners on a free after leaving Chelsea.He provided two assists in their 3-0 win over Fulham at the start of the season but has notched just one more and failed to score at all since.When Willian joined the club, Edu said: "I am really excited and really happy to have a player like Willian because I'm convinced he'll be the one to impact the team straight away."However, with the 32-year-old currently failing to make such an impact, Edu has defended him and claimed he needs time."Listen, everybody knows Willian," he said earlier this week.
