I’m A Celebrity’s Medic Bob is axed from this year’s series after 20 years over coronavirus restrictions

I’M A Celebrity veteran Medic Bob will be missing from this year’s series for the first time in the show’s history. Restrictions on flights have scuppered plans for the stalwart, who has been on the show since it began in 2002, to take part.

Medic Bob, real name Robert McCarron, worked as a doctor and all-round expert on the series but quickly became a household favourite.

His most famous moments include aiding Gillian McKeith after she "fainted" in 2010 and forcing jungle Queen Scarlett Moffatt to shower in 2016.
