I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! is set to return to Australia this November following a two year stint Wales, ITV bosses have confirmed.

The show was forced to relocate to Gwyrch Castle as a result of the coronavirus outbreak. ITV bosses have now confirmed I'm A Celeb will be returning to its original home in the Australian jungle.Rosemary Newell, Director of Content said: "We expect a celebrity to return in Australia in November, when it will generate audience over 11 million."The announcement will be welcomed by fans of the reality TV hit, and arrives shortly after hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly revealed their desire to return Down Under.Speaking on The One Show, the pair told viewers that the jungle was 'the plan' for the upcoming series.Ant stressed the pair had 'nothing against Wales', while Dec added: "We love Wales but you know, Australia is its home and we’d like to get back there if we can."Dec added: "That’s what we’re hoping, touch wood."Co-host Rylan Clark joked that the pair were looking 'looking forward to the holiday' as much as getting back to the show, with Ant admitting 'you get a much better tan in New South Wales than you do in Wales at that time of year'.The forthcoming 22nd Season of I’m a Celebrity is expected to air on ITV in November 2022.

The star-studded lineup is yet to be confirmed, although, longtime hosts McPartlin and Donnelly are expected to returnI'm a Celebrity first kicked off in 2002 in Tully, Queensland before moving to Murwillumbah, New South Wales, where it remained until the coronavirus outbreak hindered the opportunity to travel to and film the show in Australia.Ecstatic fans took to Twitter to share their delight in the news.“YESSS!!
